Psychlogical Evaluation
Sometimes we experience emotional and behavioral problems and the cause of those problems is unclear. Psychological testing or assessment consists of a series of tests that help determine the cause of psychological symptoms and disorders, to determine the correct diagnosis, and follow up with the appropriate course of treatment.
A Psychological Evaluation usually includes three phases:
1) Information gathering, which involves an interview, and may include a review of medical, education, work, or mental health records.
2) Testing, which involves administration of psychological test measures.
3) An evaluation report and feedback, where the results of the evaluation are reviewed and recommendations are discussed.
Psychological Evaluations offered:
Evaluation for Diagnosis Clarification and Treatment Recommendations (General Psychological Evaluation)
ADHD Evaluation
Adoption Evaluation
